Perfection doesn’t exist.
We all know that. But do you ever wonder how much more longer do I have to do this for?
How long will you be tweaking and adjusting your life for optimal health? How long will you be adjusting to the highs and lows of iman? How many more years do you have to consciously keep investing in your marriage? How many more years of commitment everyday to the person you love?
Will you ever get to the point where things ‘just happen’ and you don’t have to put in the effort any more?
Uh uh.
When you’ve spent years on your personal growth and spiritual development, life will become much more smoother and abundant for you. Things will flow and you’ll feel divine support from Allah shaping your life exactly the way it supposed to be but the grind will never end.
Every. Single. Day.
Till your last hour on earth.
The pursuit of happiness, peace and unconditional love will never end. There will always be something to work on – spiritually, mentally, physically.
Your work on this earth will only transpire, when you transpire.
You’ll never get to the point of feeling that you’re done with life. That you’ve made it and that there’s no more bridges to cross and mountains to climb. Besides, how boring would that be?
Imam Ahmed was asked by him son Abdullah “Father, when will we ever relax?” His response was “With the first step we take into Jannah.”
Until then, keep grinding.
Lovely post. Please assist with downloading the daily planner. I do not find a download option using the link.. Jazakallah
Thank you for your kind words. I’ve sent you an email – hopefully that should sort things out x
That’s so completely true. Even if we have so much happiness and so many things going right in our lives there will always be something to work towards. If not there would be no point to life 😉
Yeah and that’s what makes it worthwhile, alhumdulilah ?
This is so true & beautiful❤
Loved it.
And that quote is so motivating.
Actually it’s the truth that we have to struggle in this world but there is hope in Everything Alhamdulillah.
Awww thank you Yousra, completely… there is always hope inshaAllah x
Oh man, that’s so true! The quote from Imam Ahmed. In sha’Allah we enter Jannah and don’t stop striving for it!
InshaAllah ????
This is so true that life is a struggle and it keeps on bringing new things every now and then. We just need to be strong enough to tackle.
Absolutely and each hardship will only make you stronger x
We have to continue working hard to be make things work..to continue to strive to be better….great reminder
Jazakillah for reading and stopping by x
SubhnaAllah, this was beautiful to read and so true!
Jazakillah khair ????
Great reminder. Love the last quote. We always need to keep working at life and keep improving.
Really good advise sis! Ma sha Allah. Often times spirituality is put in the back burner, we’ll with me at least astughfirullah. In sha Allah i will be much better with that aspect…Allah comes first after all!
Jazakillah khair for reading ? I’m happy it resonated with you… It happens to all of us, it’s just about getting back where we want to be inshaAllah x
Great post! I was actually thinking about this today. I tend to let me perfectionism get in the way of staying motivated to achieve small wins. Some days, we just have to get a momentum going with accomplishing just one thing on our to do list!
Yessss!!!! I’m such a perfectionist too and literally the way to get through it, is by doing it – even if I’m not content with the standard of work/achievement etc. Also looking at the bigger picture and accepting that life’s never going to be 100% perfect, 100% of the time… x
Aoa Sister! Such an interesting topic you chose. I completely agree with you to the fact that we will never get to a point of feeling that now we are done with our lives!
